I love the start of Fall with all the pumpkins and Halloween decor. However, the weather is so up and down. The mornings are always chilly, but then by afternoon it can feel like Summer again. That’s why I’m always looking for easy layers. This trench from Chicwish is on the thinner side, but an easy piece to add over a long sleeve shirt or sweater.
Also, the statement sleeves are very trendy this year. I love how the balloon sleeves gives a fun detail to this classic outwear.
If you are looking for the perfect trench this Fall then I highly recommend this statement jacket 🙂

When I saw this crochet dress with the pretty button detail I loved it for Fall. The long sleeves and heavier texture, make it perfect to dress with boots for a neutral outfit. I am loving neutral and even white for Fall this year. I love the style from the clothing store, Chicwish. Their delicate pieces are perfect if you are looking to add statement to your wardrobe.
Do you love neutral and whites for Fall?

Disclosure: I was gifted a month’s subscription service from The Mr. and Ms. Collection, but as always all opinions are my own. This post includes affiliate links where I make a small commission should you make a purchase.
Fall is just around the corner. All you want to do is buy sweaters and boots while searching Vogue for all of the new trends. But, the weather just doesn’t cooperate and is still warm with the summer heat. If you’re like me and in this predicament, all you want to do is pack up the swimsuits and shorts you’ve worn all Summer. Enter The Ms. Collection clothing subscription box. This clothing rental service understands ‘clothing fatigue’.
This month’s box had the perfect options to bridge that gap in my wardrobe between those last few days of hot weather, without investing in any more warm weather options. The Ms. Collection box saves you so much money by adding a few new pieces to spice up your wardrobe before pumpkin spice is actually acceptable 😉
Below are the options for the subscription box:
Standard Once a Month for three items in each pack, once a month- $59/mo Premium Once a Month for four items in each pack, once a month – $69/mo Standard Unlimited for three items in each pack, for unlimited packs – $79/mo Premium Unlimited for four items in each pack, for unlimited packs – $89/mo
This month’s options included a pretty teal floral dress, pink off the shoulder bell sleeve top, an asymmetrical red blouse, and a pair of jean shorts.
The Ms. Collection did not disappoint with a mix of classic and trendy pieces. This boat neck bell sleeve shoulder is usually a style I shy away from, but loved the cut of this top.
I’m always a little worried about jeans and shorts because I am so picky. However, as usual The Ms. Collection’s stylists picked a pair…and they fit! These stylists are magical in always choosing pieces that fit my body type. You can read my review about how The Ms. Collection always gets it right with sizing here.
Also included this month was an asymmetrical red top that could be worn casual or dressed up. I love trying different styles without the investment. Which is what makes me love this subscription box. You can see another fun top I tried in my first subscription box in this post too.
If you need a few fun fresh pieces to ‘spice’ up your wardrobe till we can officially bring on my favorite season, check out The Mr. and Ms. Collection clothing rental service. They also have a men’s clothing subscription, The Mr. Collection. I know my husband is often asking about this fun box I get monthly 🙂 They are offering 20% your first month with code ‘tricestakestyle’.
It’s no secret I try to maximize my closet. I love finding pieces that transition well to different seasons, or can be worn different ways with some fun extra pieces. This gorgeous wine-colored dress from Chicwish was such a great summer staple, but with a Fall inspired color it can easily be worn in cooler temperatures….with a little bit of leopard of course.
This maxi dress is the perfect length for petite girls. I find that the clothing from Chicwish has pieces in petite lengths, but also the dresses are not so long that I have to wear extremely high heels. I wore this dress with sandals during the warmer weather. I also love the fact that it is lined.
Add a fun blazer and heels or even boots and you can wear your maxi dress into the cooler temps.
I fell in love with this skirt and top from Chicwish as soon as I saw them. These pieces are so feminine and pretty. If you have followed me for a bit, then you know I love the embellished pearl trend. See my post here for more pearl inspired ideas. This is such an elegant skirt without feeling like a ballerina because of the flattering midi length.
This pearl skirt reminds me so much of Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City. I think back to my twenties and there was no way I would have worn a skirt like this. I find that in my thirties I am a little more adventurous with fashion and trends. Also, I wear more skirts and dresses than I ever did in my younger years.
Then, I remember Carrie Bradshaw was in her thirties when she wore her tutu ensembles during the Sex and the City series:) It’s never too late to reinvent yourself. I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately. I started this blog in my thirties and often wonder why I didn’t start one sooner. Why wasn’t I confident enough? Why did I assume my body type wasn’t right to showcase fashion finds? Regardless of the reasons, I am happy to finally share my style and help others find confidence through clothing choices.
Everyone deserves a Carrie Bradshaw moment. Most days I feel more like the Carrie Bradshaw where the bus splashes water on her tutu skirt running after two young children all day. My days are definitely not as glamorous with housekeeping and mom life. But, when given the opportunity I like to dress up and be the Carrie in Paris wearing the mint green tulle skirt with the white blazer (makes you want to rewatch the show, right?). Or, I’ve been creating my own times to get dressed up because I truly feel more confident when at least my outfit is put together. Even if my life with kids is pretty chaotic.
Here’s to you finding a Carrie Bradshaw moment… at least once in awhile!
*Thank you to Chicwish for gifting me these pretty pieces. As always all opinions are my own.
